The HAMILTON-C1 neo provides tidal volumes as low as 2 ml for effective, safe, and lung-protective ventilation for neonatal patients. Both the proximal flow sensor and the neonatal expiratory valve were developed specifically for neonates. All features
The ventilator supports the following types of modes:
- Pressure-controlled modes (including biphasic modes)
- Volume-controlled modes (adaptive)
- Pressure-and volume-support modes
- Modes for noninvasive ventilation
Thanks to its biphasic pneumatic design, the ventilator always yields to spontaneous breathing in all modes. This is achieved through a special valve control system independent of any trigger mechanism. All features
High performance noninvasive ventilation (NIV)
The noninvasive ventilation modes deliver pressure-supported, flow-cycled spontaneous breaths (NIV and NIV-ST mode) and pressure-controlled, time-cycled mandatory breaths (NIV-ST). In NIV modes, the ventilator functions as a demand flow system. When pressure support in NIV mode is set to zero, the ventilator functions like a conventional CPAP system.
Compared to a compressed-air-based intensive care ventilator, the HAMILTON-C1 neo ventilator provides a higher peak flow rate of up to 260 l/min due to an integrated high-performance turbine. This guarantees optimal performance even with large leaks. In addition, the IntelliTrig leak compensation function adapts to changing breath patterns and airway leaks to achieve optimum synchronization between patient and device. All features
High flow oxygen therapy
The HAMILTON-C1 neo optionally provides an integrated high flow oxygen therapy mode. With this enhancement, the HAMILTON-C1 neo gives you a variety of therapy options in one device, including invasive and noninvasive ventilation, and high flow oxygen therapy. In just a few steps, you can change the interface and use the same device and breathing circuit to accommodate your patient’s needs. All features
The nCPAP modes of the HAMILTON-C1 neo are designed in such a way that you only need set the desired CPAP/PEEP. The flow is subsequently adjusted based on the patient condition and variation in leakage, which prevents unintended peak pressures or loss of CPAP/PEEP, and guarantees highly efficient leak compensation. All features
Mobility for intra-hospital transport
The high-performance turbine enables the HAMILTON-C1 neo mechanical ventilator to be completely independent from compressed air, and its integrated high-capacity battery allows you to ventilate your patients during intrahospital transport without needing an external power source. The light weight and compact design of the HAMILTON-C1 neo ventilator make handling much easier. All features
Integrated high-performance turbine
The integrated high-performance turbine enables the HAMILTON-C1 neo to be completely independent from compressed air. This reduces weight and saves space. All features
Proximal flow sensor for precise measurements
The proximal flow sensor and neonatal expiratory valve enable the precise measurement of pressure, volume, and flow directly at the airway opening, ensuring the required sensitivity and a quick response time. Your most fragile patients should benefit from better synchronization and less work of breathing as a result. All features
Leak compensation for NIV and invasive ventilation
The leak compensation function automatically adjusts the inspiratory and expiratory trigger sensitivity to airway leaks, and ensures optimal synchronization with the patient’s breathing pattern. This is achieved in both invasively and noninvasively ventilated patients. All features
Configurable loops and trends
The ventilator can display a dynamic loop based on two selectable monitored parameters. With the trend function, the ventilator can display monitored parameters in a selectable time frame. The device continually stores the monitored parameters in memory, so you have access to any of this data, even in standby. All features
Optimal alarm detection
Even from a distance or at high noise levels, the HAMILTON-C1 neo mechanical ventilator alarming is easily identified by the top-mounted 360°-visible alarm lamp. The optional nurse call capability provides additional support for optimal alarm detection. All features
CPR ventilation adapts ventilation settings to situations where CPR is being performed. It supports the CPR workflow with quick access to preconfigurable settings, adequate alarm and trigger adjustment, and CPR-timer display. The main monitoring parameters and curves relevant to CPR ventilation are also displayed. All features
Hamilton Connect Module
The Hamilton Connect Module provides wireless and wired connectivity protected by state-of-the-art security. It also enables connection with the Hamilton Connect App.
Hamilton Connect App
Built to meet the needs of modern healthcare providers, the Hamilton Connect App* gives you access to respiratory data. It also provides you with tools designed to facilitate and streamline your ventilation workflow. All you need is a mobile device and a Hamilton Medical ventilator with the Hamilton Connect Module.
*The Hamilton Connect App is not intended to replace the real-time display of data on the ventilator. DO NOT USE the app to supplement or replace any part of the hospital's device monitoring. All features
Remote access to humidifier controls and status*
The ventilator connectivity option allows you to operate the humidifier using any compatible Hamilton Medical ventilator. All the controls, monitoring parameters, and alarms are available, and can be set as required from the ventilator. Full integration of humidifier monitoring into patient data management systems is also provided.
When used with a compatible ventilator, the humidifier can automatically select the humidification mode (invasive or noninvasive) based on the selected ventilation mode.
