Expiratory valves. Keeping a check on flow and pressure

Expiratory valves Expiratory valves

Controlling the expiratory gas flow. A key aspect of ventilation therapy

The main task of the expiratory valve set is to control the respiratory phases and the positive end-expiratory pressure (PEEP).

It is also designed to prevent internal ventilator components from coming into contact with the patient’s exhaled gas.

Our single-use and autoclavable expiratory valve sets consist of three different components: housing, membrane, and locking ring (Excluding expiratory valve for HAMILTON-G5/S1 and GALILEOA). They are specially developed for use with our ventilators.

Our expiratory valve portfolio

We offer Hamilton Medical consumables for all patient groups - neonatal, pediatric, and adult. You can choose between autoclavable and single-use products, depending on your institutional policies.
