Hamilton Medical is launching an all-new production line for critical care ventilators near the company’s U.S. offices in Reno, Nevada.
After ramping up production at our existing facility in Switzerland, the next step to meet the acute need for ventilators was to set up an entirely new manufacturing operation with a new supply chain in the U.S. In partnership with General Motors, we have been working non-stop since late March to establish supply lines for hundreds of parts and design the new operation. Construction is well underway and the first ventilators are scheduled to roll off the assembly line at the end of April. Production in Reno will be dedicated to the contract announced on April 14 by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for HAMILTON-T1 critical care ventilators.
