Requiring only a minimum of space, the HAMILTON-C1 combines invasive and noninvasive modes as well as high flow oxygen therapy with maximum mobility. This makes it an ideal companion for all patient groups in the intensive care unit, emergency ward, recovery room or intermediate care, long-term acute care facilities, and during intrahospital transport.

The integrated high-performance turbine enables the HAMILTON-C1 to be completely independent from compressed air. In addition, it provides a peak flow rate of up to 260 l/min, guaranteeing optimal performance even in noninvasive ventilation.

The HAMILTON-C1 includes Hamilton Medical's standardized Ventilation Cockpit user interface and the unique intelligent ventilation mode, Adaptive Support Ventilation (ASV®).

Hamilton Medical's intelligent ventilation mode ASV automatically employs lung-protective strategies to minimize complications such as AutoPEEP and volutrauma/barotrauma. Within the rules of this lung-protective strategy, ASV encourages the patient to breathe spontaneously.

According to several studies, ASV reduces ventilation time in post-cardiac surgery patients, medical patients, and COPD patients. In active patients, ASV decreases work of breathing and improves patient-ventilator synchrony. 

Ease of use

In close cooperation with users and ventilation experts, our engineers have designed a user interface that is particularly intuitive. Switching between the  HAMILTON-C1 and all other Hamilton Medical ventilators is easy because they are operated according to the same principles.

The Ventilation Cockpit on the HAMILTON-C1 mechanical ventilator consolidates the monitoring data and converts it into visual displays. These easy-to-understand displays give a quick overview of the patient’s current ventilation status and provide a reliable basis for therapy decisions.

Increased efficiency

Hamilton Medical ventilators and ASV can reduce ventilation time and thus treatment costs.  They can also reduce the time needed for standard settings and alarm management while maintaining ventilation quality. This frees up time for other aspects of patient care.
