The HAMILTON‑C1 ventilator provides high‑performance ventilation support ‑ from invasive and noninvasive modes through to high flow nasal cannula therapy (Also known as high flow oxygen therapy. The noninvasive ventilation modes on the HAMILTON-C1 deliver pressure‑supported, flow‑cycled spontaneous breaths (NIV and NIV‑ST mode) and pressure‑controlled, time‑cycled mandatory breaths (NIV‑ST).

With peak inspiratory flows of up to 260 l/min, the HAMILTON-C1 can meet your patient’s demands and guarantee optimal performance, even with large leaks.

For O2 fanatics. High flow nasal cannula therapy

High flow nasal cannula therapy with flow rates of 2 to 100 l/min for adult patients is available as an option on the HAMILTON-C1.

In just a few steps, you can change the interface and use the same device and breathing circuit to accommodate your patient’s therapy needs.

For the little ones. Noninvasive modes for neonates

A variety of neonatal ventilation modes help support the baby according to its condition and needs.

With the nCPAP mode, the patient is supported with a continuous positive airway pressure. In our flow‑controlled devices, the desired CPAP value is set via the respiratory gas flow.

The LeakAssist function can be activated to compensate for any leakage that occurs, e.g., through the mouth or at the nose.

A predefined pressure can then be targeted with additional respiratory gas flow.

For neonatal patients, the HAMILTON-C1 offers flow rates of 2 to 30 l/min.

In sync. Adaptation to airway leaks

With IntelliTrig, the HAMILTON-C1 provides leakage compensation during the full breath cycle to increase patient-ventilator synchrony and reduce the risk of auto triggering.

 

IntelliTrig identifies the leak by measuring the flow at the airway opening, and uses this data to automatically adjust the gas delivery while remaining responsive to the set inspiratory and expiratory trigger sensitivity.

 

So there is no need for trigger adjustments, even in the presence of high leakage or patient status change.

HAMILTON-H900 humidifier

Remote access. Humidifier controls and status

With the ventilator connectivity option, you can control the humidifier from the HAMILTON-C1 display. All the controls, monitoring parameters, and alarms are available, and you can set them as needed on the ventilator’s display.

 

With the connectivity option, the humidifier can automatically select the humidification mode (invasive, noninvasive, or high flow nasal cannula therapy) based on the selected ventilation or therapy mode.
